International Scholars choosing to extend their IYLF experience will explore this historic city and its unique and classic treasures, including the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Villa Borghese, Qurinale Square and Piazza Navona. A walking and guided exploration of the historical center will include Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, the famous Via Condotti and Via del Corso. IYLF scholars will also examine in detail the Holy See: Vatican City with Basilica di San Pietro, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Finally, scholars will discover the Colosseum and Fori Imperiali and end their Roman exploration with the Terme di Caracalla, before heading back to Vienna, Austria for their return home. |
